Gill Sans — not as good as I thought…
I’m not sure how I came across it in the course of looking for information on Design Discourse topics but I found this article on GIll Sans. I recall having declared my love for this typeface quite loudly in the pub after our visit to decode at the V&A. High on swiftly drunk alcohol and nervous sitting next to Paul McNeil, I feel I was maybe a little too free with my praise of this typeface and the forcefulness with which I expressed it. Reading this very interesting article was a little sobering (no pun intended) and I suddenly feel the urge to track down some different typefaces…
